1) First cut out everything completely. Score all fold lines. You can use a pen cap (or anything else pointy) – just be sure not to press so hard that you cut through the paper.

2) Pre-fold everything, including glue tabs, before you start gluing. Start building and gluing from the top of the NaniBird's head.

3) Apply glue to both flaps of the speech bubble. Glue the top flap of the speech bubble to the inside back of the face, and then…

4) Fold the beak, line up the the bottom flap to below the inside bottom of the beak and press into place.

5) Glue tabs 6 & 7 into place. To give your bird added stability, tape a coin down to the inside of the base, generally over where the feet will go. Then glue up the rest of the tabs. Don't forget to glue the feet into place. Banzai!!! you're done.
